Hello to all
Due to our fundraiser on May 16-17, we will change our Membership Meeting to May 2. This quick Membership Meeting will follow our board meeting at 10AM. Also, there will be no Board Meetings in June/July, just the regular Membership Meeting on the 3rd Saturday. I hope you can make it to the May fundraiser at one of the Wal-Marts (see events). The AUSA awards have been moved to sometime in the fall of 2009; contact Jim Maurer later for date/time. We have our JROTC Award Presentations that still need volunteer presenters; contact Rick Hanna for locations. I am hoping to have a guest speaker from the Freedom House at the May 2nd meeting, it should be interesting.
I want the membership to know that I will try hard to keep our current members. I have personally contacted several members who have dropped out of TREA altogether, and I hope they will reconsider. Those of you that are behind on National Dues, please consider becoming a life member so you can remain on our rolls. We had a great response to our Chapter Dues request this year so I would like to thank you for your effort. Our Chapter Dues continue to help pay for our general expenses such as mailings, newsletter, postage and the website.
